DESIGN

Do I need an appointment?
There is no need to make an appointment, but to ensure a prompt service it is advisable to ring ahead to confirm a design time . Our showrooms are fully staffed at all times and our dedicated designers will ensure you receive the time and dedication you need. If you do wish to make an appointment for ease of mind, please do not hesitate to call your local showroom and our staff will be happy to organise a specific time for you. (showroom locations map)


What do I need to bring with me to the showroom to receive a quote?
To receive a quote you will need the measurements of your kitchen, not forgetting any windows and doors for an accurate design. Even better, print out your kitchen planner (kitchen planner) and fill it out at home. Bring these measurements with you to any of our showrooms and our experienced designers will go through all of your options for your kitchen layout.


Will the designer come to my home to take measurements? FREE HOME SURVEY
Firstly, you should bring your measurements with you to your local showroom for our designers to assess. We recommend then that the person fitting your new kitchen or wardrobe check the accuracy of the measurements before proceeding with the manufacturing. Our staff will provide you with a list of professional kitchen and bedroom installers should you require somebody to install your kitchen or wardrobe. Who will I be dealing with in the showroom?
Our professional designers come from related backgrounds in the kitchen industry such as interior design, cabinet making and carpentry. All are qualified in the area of kitchen computer aided design (CAD) to the highest of kitchen industry standards. While you sit and relax in our showroom, our designer will create your kitchen there and then using our latest customised kitchen software programme. (link to profile of store managers)


Is there a fee for the design service?
Unlike many of the kitchen companies in Ireland there is no fee for our design services. Kitchen World value their customers by providing them with our personalised attention and professionalism free of charge.


Do you supply a 3D/ CAD drawing of my new kitchen?
Using your measurements our designers can show you what your kitchen may look like in 3D format within a half an hour of entering the showroom using the latest technology in the kitchen industry.
If you decide to buy from Kitchen World, we will give you a detailed drawing of your new kitchen once you pay your booking deposit.


What are the prices on your kitchens and wardrobes?
We have kitchen styles and design to suit every budget and taste. With designer kitchens from as little as €2,499 right up to the high end designs, we truly have something for everybody. The prices may vary depending on dimensions, finishes, accessories, worktops and appliances selected.


Do you sell appliances?
Yes, we sell appliances from a number of leading brands and we have something to suit every taste and budget. We can provide you with free standing units or alternatively choose the integrated option for your new kitchen. (appliances page)


Do you sell accessories?
Yes, we sell accessories for your kitchen or wardrobes assisting with space management and overall appearance of your living space. Choose from a wide range of accessories we have on offer (accessories page)


Can I buy doors or worktops separately to upgrade my existing kitchen?
We do not supply doors and worktops separately. As these items make up the most cost of replacing a kitchen, we recommend for our customers that it is worth requesting a quote for a total replacement giving your kitchen an overall revamp in the process for that little bit extra.


MANUFACTURING


Where will my kitchen or wardrobes come from?
All our kitchens and wardrobes are manufactured onsite here in Ireland at our manufacturing plant in Dublin, at longmile Road Business park ,Longmile Road D12  off the Naas Road. This newly opened state of the art production facility covers 75,000 square feet ensuring highest quality of product. Once you have ordered your new kitchen or wardrobe from Kitchen World your order is allocated a unique barcode. This barcode factory system ensures every single detail of your unique kitchen is monitored and quality checked through our factory to delivery into your home within twelve days.

 

Do you supply flat pack units?
 NO FLAT PACK !All our kitchens leave our factory fully assembled and ready to be installed. This makes our kitchens much easier and more cost effective to install as there is less labour involved. In addition, with our preassembled kitchens you can avoid 'flat pack' nightmare scenarios; of complicated assembly, missing parts and delayed delivery.

 

DELIVERY


How long will it take for my kitchen or wardrobes to be delivered?
Our own trained delivery and transport team will deliver your kitchen, complete, fully assembled, and undamaged, to your home within 12 days of your confirmed order.


How much will it cost?
There is no extra cost for delivery


INSTALLATION


Do you provide an installation service?
We  offer a FULL  installation service ;talk to our designers who can provide you with a list of qualified installers  to install your new kitchen or wardrobe or Sliding Robe.


Will the price I get from you include the fitting cost?

The price we give you is for supply from the factory and delivery to your home. When you book the fitter for the installation of your kitchen you should then agree the price for fitting and this is payable directly to them on completion. Our kitchen designers will give you an approximate price of fitting when quoting you for your kitchen. However, all fitting costs depend on the size and layout of your kitchen.

 

Can you arrange for any necessary plumbing or electrical work to be carried out?

We do not arrange for any gas, plumbing or electrical installation . We do recommend such work be carried out by qualified, certified individuals in order to meet with your house insurance and normal safety obligations.

 

Can you arrange for tiling on my new kitchen?

We do not arrange tiling for your new kitchen. We recommend you ensure such work is carried out by a qualified individual.

 

CUSTOMER CARE


What happens if there are any damaged items when delivered?

While we do our very best to ensure that all of your order will arrive on the agreed delivery date and in perfect condition, there is always the possibility that something may be damaged in transportation or there may be a shortage. In these instances, we guarantee that the items concerned will be replaced as quickly as possible and with as little disruption as possible to you.

 

Who do I contact if I have a query after my kitchen is fitted?
We are committed to the after sales service of our business and should you have any queries in the aftermath of your kitchen purchase please contact your kitchen designer who will be more than obliging to help you with your query. Our designer will then pass your query on to our dedicated customer care team who are on hand to deal with all matters as they arise. 087 2835000

1. The information outlined above is intended as a guide to help you, our customer, to estimate the cost of having your kitchen fitted by an independent fitter. The charges include the complete fitting of the kitchen units and a preliminary visit to your home to verify the measurements you have provided. Please note that plumbing and electrical work is NOT included.


2. We advise our customers to ensure they are completely satisfied with the work carried out by their independent kitchen or wardrobe installation contractor before making full and final payment for agreed work.


3. Kitchen World is not responsible in any way for fixing, fitting or the treatment of the goods. Kitchen World may upon request issue the customer a list of independent kitchen fitters, Kitchen World does not recommend, guarantee or in any manner accept responsibility for the standard of workmanship of such contractors. All such contractors are not acting as agents of Kitchen World and the customer shall satisfy him/herself as to the competence or ability, skill or otherwise of the said kitchen fitter to carry out the job assigned.
